Hillsong Worship Cebu 2026 was more than just a concert for me. It was a night of worship, gratitude and remembering how God has been part of my journey.
Hillsong Music Has Been Part of My Journey
Even before I became serious about my walk with Jesus, I have always loved music.
But among all the music I listened to, it was Christian music, especially Hillsong music, that really made me worship and exalt God.
There was something about those songs that spoke directly to my heart.
Through the years, Hillsong songs became more than music to me. They became part of my life. They became my lifesong, especially after I got baptized and started taking my relationship with Jesus more seriously.
My journey towards Christianity has never been easy.
There have been struggles, questions, waiting, disappointments and seasons when I had to learn to trust God even when I did not understand what He was doing.
But through it all, I held on to His promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
He also promised eternal life to those who believe in Him.
That is why Hillsong Worship coming to Cebu meant so much to me.
I Made Sure I Got My Hillsong Worship Cebu Ticket
When I found out that Hillsong Worship was coming to the Philippines, I knew I did not want to miss it.
Last July, I made sure I joined the preselling and booked an SVIP standing ticket because I wanted to be as close to the stage as possible.
And lo and behold, it turned out to be the perfect spot!
Not only were we close to the stage, but it was also the perfect place for me to take photos and videos of the Hillsong Worship concert in Cebu.
Little did I know that some of those photos and videos would be shared widely and go viral over the next few days.
But before the views, shares and likes, there was simply a moment that I wanted to capture and remember.
A moment of worship.
We Arrived at SM Seaside Cebu at 3 PM
The Hillsong Worship concert in Cebu was scheduled to start at 8:30 PM.
But knowing how unpredictable Cebu traffic can be, we decided not to take any chances.
We arrived at SM Seaside City Cebu at around 3 PM.
Yes, that early!
We wanted to make sure that we would not get caught in traffic and miss the concert. Thankfully, our plan worked.
We were already there when the gates opened, and with our SVIP standing tickets, we were able to make our way right in front of the stage.
After waiting for hours, we finally found our spot.
And looking back, it was absolutely worth it.
Jethro Alaban Opened the Night With Gratitude
Before Hillsong Worship took the stage, Jethro Alaban opened the night with "Gratitude."
What a beautiful way to begin a night of worship.
Sometimes, before asking God for more, we simply need to stop and say, "Thank You, God."
Thank You for life.
Thank You for every blessing.
Thank You for the answered prayers.
And even thank You for the difficult seasons that taught us to trust You more.
Standing there at SM Seaside Arena Cebu, surrounded by so many people, listening to "Gratitude," I found myself reflecting on my own journey with God.
I thought about who I was before I became serious about my faith and who I am becoming as I continue to walk with Jesus.
God has brought me through so many seasons.
And He continues to remind me that even when the journey is difficult, He is there.
Worshipping With Hillsong Worship in Cebu
When Hillsong Worship finally came on stage, the entire arena came alive.
The lights, the music and thousands of voices singing together created an atmosphere that is difficult to describe.
But what touched me most was not simply seeing the artists on stage.
It was seeing so many people worshipping God together.
Songs that I had listened to countless times suddenly felt different because I was hearing them live, surrounded by thousands of people singing the same words.
There were moments when I was busy taking photos and videos because, of course, CebuanaDiaries had to document the experience.
But there were also moments when I simply wanted to put my phone down and worship.
Because some moments are not meant to be captured.
Some moments are meant to be lived.
What a Beautiful Name and Shout to the Lord
Hearing songs like "What a Beautiful Name" and "Shout to the Lord" live brought back so many memories.
These songs have been part of my journey with Jesus for years.
They reminded me of where I came from, where God has brought me and why I continue to hold on to Him.
There is something powerful about hearing thousands of voices sing words of worship together.
For a few hours, the arena was filled with music.
But for me, it was worship.
It was gratitude.
It was surrender.
And it was a reminder of God's faithfulness.
Being in the SVIP standing area right in front of the stage also gave me the opportunity to capture some incredible moments from the concert.
I took photos and videos throughout the night, simply wanting to document my
Hillsong Worship Cebu experience.
I never expected that some of the videos would gain so much attention and go viral over the following days.
As a blogger and content creator behind CebuanaDiaries, of course, seeing people enjoy and share the moments I captured was incredibly special.
But beyond the numbers, what matters to me most is the story behind those videos.
I wasn't simply filming a concert.
I was documenting a night that meant something to me.
As CebuanaDiaries, I have attended and covered many events through the years.
But this one was different.
This was personal.
Hillsong Worship Cebu 2026 was not simply another concert that I attended.
It brought me back to the music that helped me worship God even before I became serious about my faith.
It reminded me of my baptism.
It reminded me of the struggles that came with my Christian journey.
And most importantly, it reminded me that God has been faithful through it all.
Life as a Christian was never promised to be easy.
But God promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
He promised eternity to those who believe in Him.
So through every season, every struggle, every answered prayer and even every unanswered prayer, may our lives continue to become a song of worship to Him.

Thank you for bringing songs that have helped so many of us worship God through different seasons of our lives.
For me, Hillsong music has been part of my journey even before I fully understood what it meant to truly walk with Jesus.
And years later, I found myself standing right in front of the stage in Cebu, singing those same songs with a heart that has experienced many seasons but still chooses to worship.
That night at SM Seaside Arena Cebu, I came for the music.
But I left with a reminder.
Keep worshipping. Keep believing. Keep trusting.
Because through it all, He remains faithful.
More of Him. Less of me.
