Hue|Mann as the name of the coffee shop might sound unusual and hard to remember, which was also my first question to the owner, Mr. Migo Variacion on why he chose such name.
Hue because it’s connected to Hues x Palette Salon - my favorite hair salon. The main intention of Migo is really to have a relaxing and chit chat place for his customers. The word Mann comes from the last name of the part owner who is German.

Last week, I got to experience the uniqueness, simplicity and the minimalist ambiance of this cafe. It serves German coffee as well as pasta and bread to partner with your coffee.
This cafe does not adhere to the usual chairs and tables set in a coffee shop instead it has white boxes that serve as such. It destroys the stereotypical idea of the ordinary cafe. It's a vibrant space for the digital nomads; a dynamic venue for start-ups who need to work and meet up with their clients; a safe place for students who need to study and do their research; a sanctuary for bookworms looking for a modern library space to curl up with a good book. Or a cool place for those seeking for a new place to just chill from the dizzying city life. The warm lighting adds up to the relaxation that this coffeeshop can give to its customers.
Cebuanos are more dynamic and very receptive to new things and places. People nowadays like to look for a place that is perfect for them to do their work which of course includes convenience, accessibility and must be conducive for their purpose (a cozy & homey space). Hue | Mann wants to provide a more than beautiful place to create environments for innovation, connection and productivity for the Cebu community.
Take note that Hue | Mann is open from 10:00am to 8:00pm daily starting October 1, 2023.
