KROMA Entertainment boosts presence in Cebu, showcases tradigital portfolio to media and content creators


Kroma Entertainment introduces their presence to the Cebuano people yesterday, September 6, 2023 at Abaca Baking Company.
  Welcomed with the presence of the media people- bloggers, vloggers, radio announcers and journalists, it was indeed a kick off for KROMA. 

“It makes complete sense that we pay the Queen City a visit. Cebu is a powerful market for world-class entertainment just as it is a hotbed of creative talent,” says Cheng Kabigting, KROMA Entertainment’s Sales and Marketing Head.

KROMA offers tradigital (a blend of traditional and digital) entertainment across screens and formats through its ecosystem of brands that cater to specific clients and audiences.

    • PIE is an interactive, gamified entertainment platform that is present on multiple touchpoints such as digital, TV, and on ground. Its shows include Tamang Hinala with Luis Manzano, Watchawin with Robi Domingo, Mukhang Perya with Eric Nicolas and Negi, Ur Da Boss with Melai Cantiveros, and Sinong Manok Mo with Jolina Magdangal and Bayani Agbayani. 


    • NYMA is a talent agency that represents trailblazing talents here and abroad including actress and content creators Kristel Fulgar, Frances Cabatuando, Abi Marquez, Jukay Jurao, Buji Babiera, Raco Ruiz, Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista (co-managed with Stages), and international stars, singer-songwriter Jamie Miller and KPop superstar Eric Nam (both co-managed with EN Management).

NYMA talent, content creator, and founder of massive online community Home Buddies Frances Cabatuando flew in for the event. Cabatuando talked about the growth of her online communities—Home Buddies and travel-themed Hangout Buddies—as well as projects in the pipeline. 


Host, actress, singer, and PIE jock Anji Salvacion of PIE’s weekend show Sinong Manok Mo? enthralled the crowd with a quick song and shared more about her experiences in PIE. The Kroma team also led an in-person version of new interactive game show Watchawin giving Cebu media and content creators a taste of PIE’s Pindot PIEnalo proposition. 


After the lunch event, Cabatuando and Salvacion spent the rest of the afternoon doing the rounds at the city’s leading radio stations, including Magic 92.3, y101 FM, and Monster Radio BT 105.9, to talk more about their platforms and invite listeners to catch their respective projects at NYMA and PIE. 


Cebu City is KROMA’s second stop in a string of visits in the VisMin region. They visited Davao City in time for Kadayawan in August and are set to host more meet and greets in other cities in the region. Kabigting adds, “There is so much potential in developing new audiences for KROMA and its brands around the country. We are confident we’re on the right track by scoping the market and showcasing our tradigital brands in person.”
