The Metro Fun Run

Who wouldn't be enticed with what Metro has in store for us, their valued customers?

Last March and April, Metro has made Summer very active for us. 

First, they had a Metro Cookfest Activity which you can read on my blog: http://www.glitterzescapades.com/2018/03/metro-cookfest-2018.html on March 24 & 25, 2018

And for their last Summer hurrah, they have the most extravagant and lavish Summer Fun Run ever.  At least for me, I have not attended a Fun Run event that gives a lot to the participants like medicines, Pocari Sweat, alcohol, Lewis cologne, Virginia hotdogs, rice, and a lot more.

The participants started to gather around at Ayala Terraces at around 4:30am on April 28, 2018 (Saturday). They started with a zumba to do stretching and warm ups. They all came from different age range as their categories were as follows:  

21 km Male and Female Category

10 km Male and Female Category

5 km Male and Female Category

***Child participant must present a Parents Consent for those running as individuals.***

The runners were all passionate in winning the prizes. I, personally was on the finish line to capture the victorious faces of the winners. Seeing them very happy with what they have gained from the run makes me think of how generous Metro is to their contestants.

Aside from the giveaways mentioned above, they also have fabulous prizes like: two bicycles, electric fans, rice and gift certificates.
