Brickwood Busay: Cebu’s Mountain Escape with Breathtaking Views

There are days when Cebu City feels a little too noisy, and all I want is a quick escape to breathe, relax, and enjoy a little quiet. That’s when I usually head up to Busay, looking for a spot where the air is cooler, the view stretches far, and the food is worth lingering over. Just a short 15 to 20-minute drive from the city, I discovered Brickwood Busay, a hidden highland restaurant tucked away from the usual paths. It’s perfect for anyone searching for mountain-view dining in Cebu or one of the best restaurants in Busay, offering a cozy escape with soft skies, cool breezes, and dishes that linger on your taste buds.

Up here, the mountains feel endless, and the sky slowly shifts through colors that make you stop for a moment just to stare. Even if you come for a quick bite or a simple coffee, Brickwood Busay has this quiet charm that makes the highlands feel like a secret all your own.

What makes it even more special is that it is helmed by Chef Izzy Sy, who also owns the iconic Kayu at 32 Sanson Road. His passion for flavors, attention to detail, and creativity carry over to this highland spot, making every dish memorable while the mountains and the sky quietly steal the show.

Why Brickwood Busay Feels Different

It is not simply a restaurant; it is a cozy highland retreat where every little detail invites you to unwind and linger.

  • The sky above: Not a sunset, but a gentle play of colors over the mountains that changes every few minutes.
