A Taste of Mandarin

If you are looking for a perfect venue for a family celebration, A Taste of Mandarin at Gaisano Country Mall is the place to be. My mind was refreshed when I got invited to do a review of this Genuine Chinese Restaurant. I remembered the first time I visited this place was when we had our familiarization tour as a hotelier years ago. We would recommend the place for our guests craving for Chinese dishes.

Indeed A Taste of Mandarin has been serving us authentic Chinese food for decades. We might have a lot of restaurants opening up everywhere in Cebu but A Taste of Mandarin will always be at par with everyone else.

The moment you set your feet inside the big glass door of A Taste of Mandarin, your eyes will be stuck with the colors of gold and red surrounding the place. You can't help but notice the elegance of the interiors. Once you are inside the reception area of the restaurant, you will be greeted with the warm smile from their associates and will be ask right away if you have a reservation and for how many people.

As I have observed, A Taste of Mandarin has big tables, thus enhancing the sense of being a family oriented restaurant. As what Miss Alexis Gaisano said, A Taste of Mandarin is encouraging families to eat together and celebrate good times here. They also offer functions rooms for parties. They have two private rooms and they offer set menus too for easier arrangement.

Now, let's talk about the food. let me present our menu:

For our starters:

special two hot, two cold combination

A combination of hot and cold varieties of foods to choose from that will really boost your appetite such as the sweet saucy roast pork and soyed chicken with the compliment side dish of seaweeds and ginger sauce.

Soups:

Dried Scallops with mashed pollonchai soup

A green and healthy vegetable soup mixed with assorted fresh seafood.

Buddha Soup

A Chinese delicacy known for its rich taste, usage of high-quality ingredients and special manner of cooking

Main Dish:

Chicken-Lemon Chicken

Battered chicken fillet filled with sweet lemon sauce. This is my favorite. The taste is new to me and the sweetness and sourness of the lemon complements well with each other.

Beef - Shredded Beef with Green Pepper

It is made of finest beef mixed with green bell pepper.

Fish - Steamed Live Lapu-Lapu with Green Mango

A live fish steamed with soy sauce and garnished with sliced green mango.

Pork - Patatim with Steamed Buns

Indeed a mouth-watering dish that most Chinese loved. It is a popular braised pork leg and it has thick and sweet sauce and the meat almost separate from the bone.

Rice:
