Thirty to forty-five-minute boat ride from Anawangin Cove lies a wide, spacious, and ravishing cove covered with the ashes from the previous eruption of Mt. Pinatubo - the Nagsasa Cove.
When compared to Anawangin, Nagsasa Cove is more quiet, peaceful, and lesser people on the island. As for me, Nagsasa would be my favorite venue for an overnight camp so I could be more dead serious of my solitude :)
A perfect place for meditation while in a hammock under the tree. An ideal getaway from a stressful week. There is no electricity on the island so it is more likely going back to the basic - the more traditional way of spending the day with yourself, loved ones, and friends. Furthermore, no network signal in the place, so you really have no choice but to bond with the people you are with by chatting, playing cards, swimming, trekking, and eating. A fun way to live without cellphones and social networks.
