Of all the adventures and escapades I've been to, this is the most remarkable, the most distinct one as it shows human effort of preserving the nature.

In the interior part of the town of Aloguinsan, Cebu. A river has been promoted for locals and foreigners. If you are a nature lover person, you would definitely appreciate how the inhabitants of this municipality came together to give you an Eco-Cultural Tour.

This tour would not only give you the chance to swim in the river or even to the blue crystal water , but it allows you to learn the different species like the flora and fauna and the different kind of mangroves.

As you cruise in the river with the boatman, they would also impart the history of the place and how the community is running the educational tour for environmental preservation and how it helps the livelihood of the fisher folks and their family. From the boat ride to the lecture and down to the preparation of the food, these will be done by the locals of the place. It actually gives them the chance to earn more and allows them to work together for the benefit of their town as well. 

The cruise is available everyday and the rates vary from the number of guest that would come in groups. The more you are in a group, the cheaper the rates would be per pax which also includes buffet lunch and some filipino delicacies for snacks.
