The Majestic Tumalog Falls in Oslob, Cebu

One of the most visited provinces in the southern part of Cebu is Oslob. A three or four hour trip via bus.  Amazed with all the natural resources this town is rich with, I would not wonder why a lot of travelers, people and family came from all over the world to satisfy their curiosity. It is not only about the whale watching, but with this blog, I am also showcasing the great waterfalls called "Tumalog falls" and a side trip to the  central of the town of Oslob which shows their history- their pueblo.

Let me take you to Oslob's heritage town, the church and the park.

We hastily moved on to our next destination - "Tumalog Falls". A five to ten minutes ride up to the mountains.. The ride was enjoyable as I was very happy seeing the very green environment and breathing the fresh air in the upland. If you are not on your private wheels, you may also ride a motorcycle from the highway to the falls for Php 50.00-Php 100.00.

 palm trees and green environment

blue waters and clear blue sky

what a nice day to be on top!

I was expecting we will have to trek 1 km for us to arrive to the falls just like in kawasan. The good thing is - it is just a five to ten minute walk down to the falls from where the parking is. The hardest part is going down is so steep that you really have to be accurate with your step . For those you don't want to walk, you can opt to ride a motorcycle for Php 25.00 going down. Then the entrance fee is Php 20.00.
And this paid off the trip:

The grandeur and the majestic beauty of His creation is beyond words. The enormous falls was like a curtain spreading from the sky falling down gracefully landing to the blue clear waters. I am in awe with this beautiful creation.

Truly, Cebu is one of the blessed islands in our country. And these gifts are worth to be taken care of and to be treasured as these are given to glorify His name.

Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me. Psalm 42:7
