DOLCE and LANTAW- the floating restaurant: Having the best times of our Lives!

A Birthday is a day when a person celebrates the anniversary of her or his birth. Birthdays are celebrated in numerous cultures, often with a gift, party or rite of passage ( Wikipedia)

It's wednesday!-October 17.. a special day for my best travel mate - Chode!
It was kind'a spontaneous adventure..we didn't have a plan on his birthday. He just really wanna have breakfast together. So I was there with him, we had a talk about his plans for the future as years unfold and we become more mature. We reminisced the time when we were still new in our company- how time flies really fast. He was just 21 years old when he started working and fast forward to 5 years and we are still friends and still loving adventures.

Good thing my brother- Raymond lent me his car, so then- new endeavor just crossed into our minds.
We drove far up to Nivel Hills-Lahug , Cebu City.

A few hours later, we started getting ready for "Lantaw" a mixed of Filipino-Mexican Resto. It is an hour away from the mainland of Cebu. The most funny thing is that we don't know the place nor the directions to go there, good thing is that, we have an iphone with GPS to guide us the way. Check their reviews here.

We arrived the place safely in Baybayon, Cordova. Here are a few pictures to show you the place:

Finally, we decided to call it a day! Still, following our GPS guide, we went back to the city. I am so glad to celebrate Chode's birthday with him personally..

Nice Pics of the place! Unbelievable scenery as you're having so much fun with sumptuous traditional cuisine, too much belly filling with young coconut sweet halo-halo! Nakaka-gutom!
