"Yes! you may call me a dreamer but I am also a doer, I am for NATION BUILDING", quoted from teacher Ray Nobleza. Those words hit me bulls eye! Why? because I seldom hear people having the passion of nation building, of helping our country rise up through the things they are good at. And this is what motivates the Founding director of Excellence Academy - Mr. Reynaldo Nobleza.

His personal principle is adapted from Mark Bezos: "Not everyday is going to offer us a chance to save somebody's life, but everyday offers us an opportunity to affect one." One child at a time, one day at a time, he hopes to contribute in laying down proper educational foundations necessary for nation building.

As a result of what he believes in, teacher Ray Nobleza together with his friend Ma. Yamina de la Cruz and two other teachers, started Exceptional Children's Educational Center of Braingym Inc. at CT Residence Hall, Talamban. They made class sizes strictly small (maximum of 8 students with two teachers), experiential education was the norm starting in preschool, and play is used as a methodology rather than as the curriculum.

He also introduces the ACTIVITY FRIDAYS, an off campus, "back to nature" whole day activity that toddlers look forward to.

Excellence Academy or EC2 is located at Unit 4-6, E-Park, Tigbaw, Talamban, Cebu City.
