My Top Five Local Coffee Shops in Cebu

Because I am a coffee lover, I set myself on a treat to hop in to every new cafe here in Cebu… And in just one week, I made myself available to visit five local coffee shops that Cebuanos should come to visit. Undeniably, Internationally franchised coffee shops are all over the place, but it is still worth every penny to spend and taste our local produced coffee beans.

Every cafes I visited has its own special touch to showcase its own branding to the limelight of the Cebuanos. But the most prominent factors like courteousness, friendliness and being hospitable are all present in our own coffee shops too.

And my top five are:

Miss Tess of Cafe Egao allowing me to experience the traditional roasting of coffee

1. Cafe Egao : This homey cafe is giving us a taste of the traditional roasting of your coffee right into your very eyes. Its fancy utensils add up to the memorable experience as it gives you a glimpse of your childhood. Cafe Egao is situated in Nasipit, Talamban Cebu City. They are open from 09:59 am towards 11:59 pm. 4. PhiloSophia: A library cafe that shelters the books about Cebu. I am amazed of how this cafe gives us significant information about Cebuanos and Cebu. Every Cebuano must visit the place as their books help you to understand your roots and your identity. It is such a joy to have this special place meant for us. Visit them along M.C. Briones Street in Mandaue City.

Great customer service precedes the quality of coffee served with a smile and love. Certainly, Filipinos are best known for being hospitable; therefore, It is no challenge to keep the people coming back and make them feel at home.
