Truly, Philippine Airlines continues to make ways in serving the Filipinos to more destinations to give us comfortable direct flights from Cebu. Last March 26, 2017, Philippine Airlines opens more domestic routes from Cebu to Busuanga, Puerto Princesa, General Santos and Surigao. The expanded operations in Cebu hub aim to make flights more accessible to Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao passengers and help decongest the Manila hub.

Cebu - Busuanga - Cebu (7 RT flights/week)
PR 2680 departs Cebu daily at 8:40 AM and arrives in Busuanga at 10:10 AM
PR 2681 leaves Busuanga at 1:50 PM and touches down in Cebu at 3:20 PM
Cebu - Puerto Princesa - Cebu (7 RT flights/week)
PR 2347 operates four times a weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and
Sundays), deaprting Cebu at 8:40 Am, arriving in Puerto Princesa at 9:55 AM. Its return journey via PR 2348 operates on same days with departure from Puerto Princesa at 10:35 AM and arrival in Cebu at 11:50 AM.
PR 2348 operates thrice weekly (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays) leaving Cebu at 12:30 PM and touching down n Puerto Princesa at 1:45 PM. Return flight PR 2350 operates on same days, departing Puerto Princesa at 2:25 PM and touching down in Cebu at 3:40 PM.
Cebu - General Santos - Cebu (7 RT flights/week)
PR 2355 leaves Cebu thrice weekly (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays) at 8:30 AM, touching down in General Santos at 9:40 AM; PR 2356 operates on same days, taking off from General Santos at 10:20 AM and landing in Cebu at 11:30 AM
PR 2357 departs Cebu four times weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays) at 12:50PM and arrives in General Santos at 2 PM; PR 2358 leaves General Santos on same day at 2:40 PM and touches down in Cebu at 3:50 PM.
Cebu - Surigao - Cebu (7 RT flights/week)
PR 2395 departs Cebu thrice weekly (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) at 10:10 AM and touches down in Surigao at 10:55AM; PR 2396 leaves Surigao on same days at 11:15Am and arrives in Cebu at 12NN.
PR 2397 departs Cebu four times weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays) at 12:30 PM and touches down in Surigao at 1:15 PM; PR 2398 leaves Surigao on same days at 1:35 PM and arrives in Cebu at 2:20 PM.
Just in time for summer, PAL is paving additional routes to our favorite destinations in the Philippines. Indeed, our best loved airline never budge in giving us the best in serving the Filipinos.

Philippine Airlines as represented by their VP for inflight services - Mr. Salvador Britanico Jr., and the Area Head of Visayas Sales - Ms. Reyani Romano headed the Inaugural ceremony along with the PAL managers to welcome the passengers to the first flights of the said four destinations.

Whats making this celebration more special aside from the sumptuous buffet served to the passengers, is that it is the first time for most of us to see the Water Canon Salute. To quote Ms. Reyani Romano - the Area Head of Visayas Sales, "Water Canon Salute is a tradition for the maiden flight, it has to be there. The rationale about that is it signifies blessing of the first flight."

We were also introduced to the father and son pilots namely: Captain Luisito Jose and First Officer Gabriel Jose. People were fascinated to know how this father and son manage to work together on the same flight. Passengers and guests even requested to have their picture taken with the Joses.
