The Queen City of the South welcomed Holiday Inn on June 15, 2022. Prestigious international property in joint partnership with the Erawan Group Public Company Limited and IHG Hotels and Resorts. Holiday Inn has 180 premiere rooms and suites in the following room categories.

Yours truly was fortunate enough to experience a luxurious staycation for a night as their in-house VIP which inspired me to write this blog.

The moment I set foot in the lobby, I was greeted with a relaxing scent of Holiday Inn's signature aroma that compliments the lobby’s stunning interior design bringing out a cozy feeling you will never get enough of.

True hospitality was profoundly demonstrated by the hotel staff. Warm smiles from front desk officers to dining servers, guards, and housekeepers accompanied me during my entire stay making me feel so comfortable and at home. Kudos to their uplifting spirits in serving their guests.

The checking-in process went so smoothly. Front Desk officers really made sure everything was taken care of as they ushered me to my room on the 16th floor.

I was offered a King Bed Suite room but since I needed a twin bed, they accommodated me instead to a Standard Twin Bedroom and I didn’t mind it since all their rooms are impressive and elegant.

        

Only the Standard Room Category has twin beds. Soft and Firm pillows are provided for your comfort. Bathtubs are also available for the higher room categories.  

All rooms also include the following amenities:

• Bathrooms with complete toiletries and a fully functional blower, 
• a safety deposit box, 
• percolator, 
• a flat iron with ironing board, 
• and my favorite, a Bluetooth alarm clock.

Food and Beverage:

Proceed to the seventh floor, and you will reach SevII, the hotel’s cafe. 

Enjoy a wide range of delectables served in both Buffet and Ala Carte choices.

Sevii’s daily breakfast starts from 6am to 10am for as low as Php 799 net per person (Filipino, Western and Oriental dishes) while Dinner Buffet is every Fridays to Sundays from 6pm to 10pm at Php 899 net per person (highlighting: Lechon belly, skewered meats and seafood, and different kinds of desserts: from cheesecakes, mousse cakes, custard, truffles)

Other Hotel Amenities:

• Swimming pool: 8am to 8pm ( exclusively for in-house guests )
• Fitness Gym: open 24/7

If you’re looking for a place to conduct Conferences or Banquets, Holiday Inn also offers three huge Function Halls.

I’d say, my overall experience rating is 8/10 giving them a wiggle room for improvement. Nevertheless, Cebu’s newest hotel is definitely a must-try!!!
