The Chocolate Queen's Crest unveiling at NUSTAR

 

And the story of our Chocolate Queen continues…

July 8, 2022, was the appointed time for our dear Chocolate Queen to unveil her Chocolate Crest which is

                

She wears the crown of Cacao Pilipinas. There she finds her purpose. She leads the Cacao industry wherever she goes. She always smiles while saying, “I want to tell the whole world that we, Filipinos exist in the chocolate world but we have our own identity!” After all, she represents the Philippines, especially in our Agriculture. 

On the right side shows the year 1983 - She says “When I was seven years old - my chocolate journey began. It started on a secluded mountain and 7 rivers away from home where I have to walk every day going to my school. That forest has lots of cacao trees” But she didn’t know at that time that cacao is for chocolates! That’s the meaning of the mountain with the river.

Then when she realized that cacao is the main ingredient of chocolate. She then said, "I found one of our hidden treasures that were kept hidden once in that secluded mountain where I lived." Gold represents treasure! The left shows 1521 - It was the year when the Spaniards brought cacao to The Philippines. She gives importance on 1521 because that’s our history! Galleon - the ship of the Spaniards nga gisakyan! Hahaha… also The Galleon she said represents the ship of Maria Cacao. Magellan’s Cross represents Cebu. Then she said ang yuta kung natawhan! Cebu, Philippines!

Of course, Cacao is the instrument. As she said we have our identity. Tablea to sikwate is our identity in the world of chocolates- that is the meaning of why there is the chocolatera. 

The Chocolate Queen is a fire dragon born on Jan. 12,1976.

According to The Chocolate Queen, The 3C’S 

1. Creator - She said she is for our maker who sent us here on earth. 
2. Country - for her, Her promised land where she was born. Ang atong yutang natawhan she considers it our promise land! 
3. Cacao- Cacao is the instrument… she said “I believe this is my calling” and here, I find meaning… My purpose in life. After all, it’s beyond cacao/chocolate.

Miss Raquel Choa, the Chocolate Queen was in Movenpick Hotel, Boracay as we simultaneously unveil to the whole world her passion, her crest, and her love for her country. 

I, for one, took care of NUSTAR’s The Chocolate Chamber with Casino's F & B Manager, Mr. Genesis Vargas alongside Miss Connie and Mr. Borj -  the heads of NUSTAR Mall. Cebu’s tour group and some of our Chocolate Queen’s closest friends.

The unveiling of the Chocolate Queen’s Crest was done synchronously in TCC Bohol, Seda Hotel, Marco Polo Hotel, Robinsons Galleria, and NUSTAR.
