Waterfront Cebu City Hotel celebrates the Year of the Rooster!

Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino celebrates the Chinese New Year with an awe inspiring fireworks display which welcomes the Year of the Rooster last Friday - January 27, 2017.

Splendid! Magnificent! were the words that came out from my mouth as I was awed with the spectacular lights vividly illuminating the sky with variety of colors. I felt like I am in Disneyland watching the grand finale of the night. It was a great show!

The event started at six in the evening at the Lobby with the most significant dragon dance followed by Wu Shu performance by the Chinese community and the traditional pancit eating prepared by the Executive Chef of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel, Chef Linda Hou. The people were in red clothes and that gave out a very happy and festive mood. We greeted everyone with "Kung Hei Fat Choi"

 The program was followed by a dinner at Uno, the hotel's premier buffet restaurant. We were delighted with the various choices of food like Chinese, Filipino, Italian and a lot more. What surprised me was their "Chinese Lumpia"which they served with almonds and peanuts. The taste was unforgettable. I may come and visit Uno again one of these days.

We had a remarkable night at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino. Enjoying the company of great friends, we just started the New Year with a perfect celebration only at Waterfront.
