Traveling to Sagada requires longer hours of road trips, more money and longer vacation leave at work. But, If all these requirements hinder you from going to Sagada, I found an alternative place that you can enjoy watching the sea of clouds similar to that of Kiltepan Peak in Sagada, Mountain Province.
We were on a 7:30 am trip to Bohol via slow boat which took 2 hours to tubigon. Me and my friends were busy playing pinoy henyo that we didn't notice that we arrived in Tubigon port already. At the port, we rented a multicab for Php 1, 500.00 going to Danao, Bohol. The 2 hour trip heading to the mountainside of Danao was fun with good friends aboard.

The plan was to stay overnight to our friends farm house and to spend time talking, trekking and of course taking pictures.
The place was undeniably nostalgic to all of us. We all grew up in the province, where we all have experiences with swimming in the river, sliding in a slope using a coconut palm, watching the stars at night while telling horror stories under the moonlight.

Nothing compares of experiencing the old life in the province. No electricity means no cellphones but surprisingly, all of us were surviving and loving the unusual experience. We get to cherished this special moment of being away from social media and just enjoy the company of each other. The cold breeze of the wind blew every worries of being disconnected from the modern world for even just a night.. but we were all okay.

We slept early as we will be going to the sea of clouds at 5:00 am. We went to the location via motorcycle and walked for almost 30 minutes. We went up to the hill and walked our way up where we can have a grand majestic view of the sea of clouds. Yes! it was tiring but it's all worth every sweat. The SEA of CLOUDS made me speechless. It's heavenly! i couldn't help but stare for minutes with the beautiful view in front of me. And of course, I have to take pictures and do my job as a travel blogger to help spread this new place in Bohol worth visiting. And by the way, the entrance fee is just Php 25.00 per head. So it's unquestionably affordable.

with the cops
Police cops were around as tourists came to see this magnificent place. I was happy to see them as it made me comfortable and made me say we are safe. So, I took a picture with them as proof.
