As Cebuanos, we are undoubtedly a no stranger to the  two hectare development, located along Escario Street, just across Capitol Parish. It houses  a variety of establishments including Cebu Grand Hotel, The Apartelle, CAIAA Center, and the recently launched AXIS Entertainment Avenue.

This address, then called Cebu Capitol Commercial Complex, was established in the 1970's. Through the years, many companies have called this address home. In the 1980's, Gardenia Restaurant and Ballroom was sought - after haven for great food and nightly entertainment. Red Tomato, which opened in the early 2000's, was patronized for its authentic Italian cuisine offerings. A number of airline ticket offices and the other corporate workplaces were located here.

Moving forward, the management of Vibo Group of Companies is gearing efforts toward completing the development of the entire area with plans to construct condominium and office towers, which are both in the pipeline for groundbreaking in 2017.

Axis Entertainment is a six building cluster located at the heart of Vibo Place, that serves as its entertainment and dining hub. The strip mall is part of a sprawling two hectare property that is set against a refreshing backdrop, with lush patches of greenery and spacious walkways to create a garden-like feel.

To date, the dining establishments already operating are: Starbucks Coffee, Suzukaze Japanese Restaurant, Pigafetta Italian Restaurant, Burger King, Ila Puti, Señor Kimchi LA Street Food and Birdseed All-Day Breakfast Club. Offices that are already open include: Nikon Cameras, RICOH Photocaopiers, Architectural Interior Sources (AIS) and Cordlife Philippines.

It is also home to the Courtyard, an events space where AXIS provides nightly acoustic entertainment by the city's top bands on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
