Number Portability to Subscribers!

Good news fellow mobile users, you can now switch to a different network with you retaining your mobile number! And wait there’s more, number porting is definitely free!

Effective September 30, 2021, consumers can switch their mobile network with ease while maintaining their current mobile number.

To comply with Republic Act 11202 (An Act Requiring Mobile Service Providers to Provide Nationwide Mobile Number Portability to Subscribers) Globe Telecom, Smart Communications, Inc., and Dito have joined hands to create Telecommunications Connectivity Inc. (TCI) which will implement the number porting services.

This gives consumers the freedom to choose. This will benefit consumers more as telcos will strive to improve their products and services in order to earn customer loyalty.
